Clothes and Skin Tone

Great question.  Skin tone can certainly have an impact on color choice.  Hair color (or the absence of color) can also have an impact.  Flusser discusses it in terms of "contrast".  One of the better discussions of skin and hair color vis-a-vis color choice is recorded in this book

^^^ Quite correct.  Thank you.  I realized this when the barber decided to shave my head a few months ago. A miscommunication with disastrous results!

be careful with earthy tones and not matching them in a way that they swallow you up. i think navy and shades of blue really compliment every skin tone, and i've been trying to make a case that burgundy items do as well.
