From Tom Park, post number 152 in the auction thread (emphasis mine):

"I'm gonna jump in and say the auction will be for a pair of MTO calfskin shoes only. Shoe trees are available for purchase and upgrades to shell cordovan or alligator are available for retail price difference upcharge. Shell is generally about $500+ more and gator is generally about $4400+ more."

I think that Tom's point was to clarify that you could not order stingray boots with python accents. I think that Tom would be fine with the boots, and I'll ask him about this. If not, Styleforum will cover the additional cost.

Emailed with Tom - his offer for for shoes only, but I'm happy to pay the difference to get boots, if that is what you want. However, we are not doing the "Top Drawer" thing.

Hmm Stingray with python accents, Top drawer.....LOL

I'll just stick with calf; if I got with boots it'll probably be the Galway (NAMOR combo) rather than the Shannon which I already have a pair of. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming!

Was there a group order for the "Namor' Galway? I can't seem to find the thread, can someone point me in the right direction please?

At the moment, I'm leaning towards a derby/ blucher boot. I have several oxford/ balmoral boots eg G&G Wigmore, EG Shannon and JL Brooklands. Possibly in dark green calf and country calf.

Please no green calf.

Another consideration. EG for Asprey City Boot

I would also suggest the EG Herrick/Montford but apparently the model is discontinued model and too expensive for them to produce.

So Leathersoul says that Galway II is not available to order, and the Galway I can only be in last 82 and not 888. I may go for another Shannon then...

Isn't that the point of an MTO?
