So apparently I have to get a MTO pair of Edward Greens. Suggestions welcome.

I've no idea what to get, but have been browsing LeatherSoul's blog - so far I'm thinking:

Beaulieu in Midnight:
605585

Oakdale in Burgundy Antique:
605586

Dover in Green:
605587

This one in Green:

605588

If you don't have a pair of Dovers in your collection and can get a lot of use out of bluchers I would personally get the Dovers.

Is the weather appropriate for boots in HK? Some of the EG boots are outstanding.

Also, EG has come out with a ton of new colors. It looks like you are looking for something unique. You might want to check them out.

I can email the latest catalog if you don't already have it.

The Dover is a great shoe or the Nevis for a boot (prefer it over the Halifax).

Is there anyway to get info from EG regarding designs from the archives that are not generally seen anymore.

I think if I had the choice I'd do the Olney. Something about that boot just resonates with me every time I see it.

At any rate, have fun nailing down a model.

Cheers, I think my first pair of EGs were (black) Dovers. I've also had a pair of tan suede Dovers in the past. I like the shape and style and am open to getting another one. Yes, I guess something a bit unusual, otherwise why MTO? :)

I have always wanted a pair of green shoes and it seems you like them too! I think the dovers are too casual for the green which, in my mind, is quite formal. That is why I like this!

Waiting for info from Tom. Apparently EG put up a lot of restrictions on the MTO program about a year ago

I like boots, and the weather here is fine for them. I have a pair of JL Brooklands, EG Shannons and CJ Conistons. I just find putting them on a bit fussy, particularly if I have to do it during the day as well. Which explains why I usually wear my Trickers chelsea boots I guess.

Nice, but I thought it was limited to shoes only?
