Great job on these. Love them. I would be all over them with a black Vibram lug or commando sole. Leather soles in the winter just aren't my thing, and I've got enough boots with the Vibram Christy - that said, I know many people will love them just as they are - and I beg you to come out with some more rugged sole options!

I agree. I ordered the leather sole but probably would have gone for a commando/lugged for more weather versatility if available. The vibram is not to my taste.

commando sole would be awesome...I'm currently looking for the perfect commando sole boot for winter wear and haven't found it yet...this probably would have been it in the plain toe version.

What kind if shank is in these boots, and are they lined? Also, from where is the leather in the outsole provided? Is it Redenbach?

We use steel shanks, they are lined in the vamp, leather outsoles are from US manufacturer

Will you be offering a commando sole in the future? Or anything other than the leather or Vibram Christy options? I'd love a commando or lug option, or a dainite sole.
