Sizing:
Our Goodyear Welted footwear runs very true-to-size. If you measure as a 9.5 on a Brannock device for example, we suggest you purchase a 9.5. We recommend a snug fit as the shoes will stretch to conform to your feet.

I'm finding that I tear up the front of my leather soled shoes, seems I drag my foot oddly.. any chance of getting flush taps installed to avoid having to send to b.nelson or somewhere? I don't have a local cobbler I trust

also, any black offerings in the works?

we're not putting taps in right now - but these are oiled leather soles - meaning, they can take a beating
as for other colors - we're hoping to continually develop this line in the coming months/years. Further, our retailers will be making store exclusives with unique pairings

Only standard D is offered, but those with wide feet find that Horween's Chromexcel does stretch substantially to conform to the foot. Shoot me an email and we can help you get into the right size!

Wow...best type of pre-order....one that takes less than a week. Good call on all eyelets too....much prefer that to speed hooks but hard to find.

Thank you! These boots were a painstaking 4 years in development. We laboriously designed (over-designed) a new and unique last to make the fit exceptional and the shape absolutely perfect. In fact, the amount of samples we made for these boots were more than we've ever made before - every element of these shoes, from the stitching, to the size of the captoe to the type of shank used was tested and re-tested countless times, and chosen with purpose.

I ordered the leather sole cap-toes and got an email in just a few minutes. They look great; I've been jonesing something with natty cxl.

george these look amazing. i like the look of both the leather sole and vibram. are they both equally re-soleable? like if i buy the vibram, can i get it re-soled down the line with a regular leather sole?

YES! They are equally re-soleable and YES you can switch soles when you do a recraft through us, or at your local cobbler

all pre-orders have received a confirmation response from either myself or Tony. You will receive a further email with tracking number when they ship. As for before Christmas, they are shipping Friday, and so only an overnight option would get them to you before Christmas - something that if you'd like, you can upgrade to. Just email [email protected] about it!

we're VERY low on sizes - pre-order is through tonight, and then it's every man for himself when they go live on the website tomorrow!

Placed a phone order with Tony. Was feeling adventurous and ordered the capped toe with vibram sole. Shout out to Tony for answering all my questions regarding fit, sole comfort difference and pre-conditioning/protecting leather only with chicago's very own Venetian Shoe Cream!
