Should I exchange my alden Indy boots?

Ok so I've been trolling here for quite some time and thanks to you all, I finally was able to justify spending too much money on shoes. I bought these alden shell cordovan Indy boots no 8. You've obviously seen an obscene amount of photos of them. Here is the problem. When I got home, I put them on and noticed a crease on one of them. I've attached some photos I took. Is this something that "happens" or should I exchange them for a new pair? For the amount of money spent, I don't want to stare at something if its not normal. Any suggestions/opinions are appreciated.

That is normal. Wear your boots for a day and that crease will be covered by other creases you just made.

Perfectly normal so don't worry about it. There will be more rolls to come so get out there and enjoy your boots in good health Indiana. Welcome to Styleforum and congratulations on your purchase. Remember to use a pair of properly sized shoe trees when not in use and do not wear these every day. They'll need at least 24hrs of rest between wearings. This, by the way goes for all footwear.
