Affordable, relatively aggressively-styled loafers

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for relatively aggressively-styled loafers along the lines of those by Ferragamo, specifically the ones with an apron toe. I was thinking in the range of $200. Thanks for any help with this.

I too like aggressive loafers. Alden's shell cordovan "sniper" series of its iconic loafer is highly recommended, though the accessories occasionally chafe the ankle (size up).

In contrast, I like my brogues insouciant, yet peaceful.

Wonderful. Is that the 38th parallel last?

Indeed.

Hate to break the news to you, mate, but those are definitely Chinese KIRF Alden 'Snipers'.

If you ever attempted an assault with these, you will certainly lose out to the opposition.

And always size up when you are assembling your arsenal.

My Alden's have laid waste to several challengers over the years. There is a pair of C&J suede wingtips in the closet that have been talking shit lately; I'll report back if it comes to blows.

Next time I'm in a shoe store I'm going to say, "Yes, may I see your line of aggressively styled loafers?"  Complete poker face.  Just like the OP who is squarely putting us on.

Does that not make sense? I thought referencing the Ferragamos would help, but I meant more like the Gregory shoe from them and less like the Walden by AE. Or to stay within AE I'd reference the McGraw- something with a more elongated last and slimmer profile.
