My God. Go easy on him
Alright, I am having a little fun but seriously, what would your suggetions be?
I won't speak for the world, but in North America a white gent will probably be perceived as some form of tourist, traveller, entertainer, cult member, priest, weed smoker or just plain lost whereas a darker skinned gent would most likely be perceived as either a priest or a diplomat who wandered away from the hotel and is sight-seeing. To most North Americans (Canada & USA) this would be regarded as a costume, religious or regal attire. The perception will become the reality. The outfit makes a strong statement and commands some form of respect but most people will simply not know what to make of it or the person wearing it..Then again, most people on the street won't care. In any case, I am sure it would be quite safe to wear it publicly but it will draw attention. One way or another, a good haircut will help when wearing one.
