workaday fatigues, with the rest woolen mills. i figured this may help some people who were debating between mainline and workaday... i wear xl/36 waist (for a baggier fit) i would also say that if you're into fabrics at all, it's an easy choice to go with the reverse sateen workaday fatigues. the fabric is beautiful and durable, and they are so comfortable to wear. the fabric on the mainline fatigues looks very thin and too shiny for me...

anyway, my two cents. i keep seeing EG's sizing get slimmer and slimmer, so i'm glad i have a pretty good collection of stuff i love right now.

in other notes, i have some stuff for trade: an xl fireman shirt-jacket in navy corduroy (the one with the detachable nylon hood) and a post overalls khaki bdu in xl. both are barely worn. i'm looking to trade for xl eg stuff.

Ryan, you wear those well and indeed my favorite. And like denim, this fabric ages quite nicely. Sorry I missed you on your New England sojourn.

We've received the rest of our buy for spring; I'll have some pictures shot up in the next couple of days but to tease, I'd say the Aero could be my favorite piece from the lot. amazing fabric, even the ribbing is buttery.

Some old WWM + EG... pants are FW12 cargos - I love the fabric but the fit is a bit slim for me. I still enjoy them though. Lots of pockets is always nice.

That's how EG is supposed to look. Nice! And the pants don't look slim at all.

Love that parka Ryan, pants look good too...not too slim at all. Those Would actually be baggy for me...but I'm trying to warm up to the Workaday fatigue fit so I'm moving in that direction.

Do current workaday fatigues have the pullers on the hems? tia.

^No, they do not.

hey guys, just wondering if the penn shirt jackets are available online anywhere yet?

I don't think so. nepenthes will do phone orders though, or e-mail orders. They're your best bet, free US shipping as well.

I bought the olive one "offline" on Saturday and it's one of the best EG pieces I ever owned. The fabric works well for a shirt jacket - just the right weight, and the shade of olive is just right. The other colours were good too but the olive one stands out. And the best thing, it doesn't make most of the mistakes so often see with EG these days. It's not costume-y, no comical pockets or little flaps and straps, and it has a good length, so we guys who are over 6 feet can wear it too (no offense to the XS crowd). The fabric is high count so it won't work well in more humid climates in summer. I won't be able to wear it in Tokyo from around May to October I guess.
