Darker toecap after reburnishing

Thread Starter

Hi I sent my shoes to barkers for reburnishing as one was on display for a while and the colour on one shoes was a bit lighter than the other. The trouble is that when I got it back the toe is much darker than the rest of the shoe. Is there anyway to make the colour more homogenous?

Thanks in advance.

Burnished shoes usually have a darker toecap. But if you insist:

Feature, not a bug. A lot of people really love that effect on brown leather, and that's probably what they thought you were asking them for.

Thank you for the reply. I didn't know it was a common feature people like! wow.gif

OK thanks I'll learn to love it instead then. :)
