Tough as hell workout tees

Not sure whether to stick this over here in teeshirt land or in body consciousness for the exercise angle, so Brian/Fok, feel free to move it.

Anyone have recommendations on tough-as-hell workout tees?

Im back boxing in 100 degree heat 3 times a week, and the sweating, hits and frequent washing are taking its toll on my normal tees.

I like those sweat wicking jobs in principle, but they all seem so fine that I just dont think they are strong enough. Feel free to convince me otherwise on this if there is a brand that you can recommend...but otherwise, can anyone recommend any brands of tees that are particularly tough and well made.

My Under Armour heatgear short sleeve has held up well. I wore it about 2.5 times a week for a year and a half of BJJ, and washed it after every use. About half of that time was rolling no gi, and still no rips or tears.

That being said, I never see any of the Muay Thai guys wearing UA or anything similar. Do you use any supplemenets? You could buy your protein/whatever in bulk from DPSnutrition or Netrition; they give out free tee shirts if you order over a certain amount.

I'd maybe go with a UA Loose Gear shirt, or the equivalent from the brand of your choice, or check out fatwallet or someplace for free deals. People give away tee shirts all the time.

I like the ones at Duluth Trading.

I'm in dri-fits every day, and have a few favourites that are four-five years old, washed twice a week that have held up fine (the whites aren't too white anymore though). I punish them pretty well too. No way you're gonna tear one, although they will get little runs.

I'd say Nike, but I get mine free, so the inflated $$ doesn't affect me.
Try a few , and buy the one that feels nicest.

Get some cheap ones and throw them away when they come apart.

Champion brand tends to hold up really well.

I've used my long-sleeve underarmor for about 3 years, and it's beading up in some places but still no sign of weakness. I used it mostly for BJJ, I usually train kickboxing shirtless. (I can understand why you want to wear a shirt, however) Does your gym not offer any T-shirts or the like? My gym's T-shirts wore like iron, I still train in mine often.

I live in Vietnam, so basically anything I want, I will have to send away for. The local stuff is just falling to bits on me. No, gym doesnt sell any.

That's interesting. I thought a lot of this stuff is now made in Vietnam.

yeah, but export only. Has to leave the country and be imported with an import duty of anywhere from 20-150%. Some stuff slips out the backdoor, but its really hard to tell real backdoor stuff from fake junk. The domestically-produced-for-domestic-use stuff is crap.
