I thought it was worth starting a separate thread. I dropped in to the Drake's sale a bit earlier than the actual opening time and if you're anywhere in the area, you should head over. CHCM received 28 boxes of stuff and the prices are great. Pocketsquares are $40, ties are $65, cashmere/silk sportsjackets are $295 (from about GBP 1200). Scarves are $95 (I think), scullies and gloves are $30 each, and wool throws are $65.

The staff from CHCM and Drake's are great - a nice group of guys to talk to while you peruse/ogle/shop/etc.

Be prepared for sensory overload - there are tons of ties :nodding:

I'll try to post some pics at An Uptown Dandy at some point today.

It was an amazing experience to be able to walk around, look everything over, try things on, talk with the owner and the Drake's reps - basically to have the shop to yourself . . . probably never happen again :satisfied:

if you go make sure you peruse the boxes on the table and floor behind the counter (they don't mind) many more squares and scarves, as well as socks

Looks awesome! I may have to make up an excuse to go into the city tomorrow.
