I was there pretty early, 11:20 maybe. I asked about tigers and unicorns and they guy said the last unicorn just was bought, and they never got any tigers. (Got a great price on a blue tiger from Exquisite Trimmings last week, thanks Shaya!)

Isn't that regular price for Lagavulin 16?

Where? Most places it's about $80 now. Supposedly they ran low on the 16 (well it was 16 yrs ago) so they jacked the price. Warehouse has a bunch of "Distiller's Editions" for less than the regular releases which is nuts. I kopped several bottles (gone now) of Talisker 25 cask strength for $89 there (usu. $225ish). It's definitely my favorite place to buy Scotch in the city.

Been looking for some alternative places to buy scotch. Anything you recommend from there specifically?

Thanks for the heads up.

What is that colourful look thing next to the green paisley? It looks AWESOME!

The Fair Isles are mostly in larger sizes, (I took one of the last few 38s) but they have a lot of other vests. There are a few mogul-print square scarves left, which are kind of an odd shape, but I bought one anyway. There are a lot of the dotted reversible scarves, but not any madders or other prints. Plenty of knit scarves and a few cashmere plaids. There are not a lot of pocket squares left in colorways that are extremely versatile. Mostly brights. A bunch of shirts, some socks in silk and cashmere, a smattering of sports coats, all in larger sizes, a shelf of knit gloves and hats. (Bad phone pic below of my haul)
