Colored Heel Showing with Dress socks

I have smaller feet so the colored heel portion on all of my dress socks show, like this:



Is this "inappropriate?"

Yes, it's inappropriate. Though socks don't need to have a colored heel portion, the main problem is the pants are too short.

+1. It looks shit.

I see socks all the time on sale with contrast coloured heels, toes and top bands and always wonder what's the point? That's the three parts of the sock that should never be seen.
