anyone excited about this miniseries on Discovery HD? I figure it's worth Tivoing and watching at some pt.

It's by far the best BBC Documentary I've ever watched. It will be out on HD-DVD in April. 11 episodes shot during 5 years. It is safe to say a marvellous view on our planet and its beauty.

The narator is a large setback to me.
At one point, I woke-up after having fallen asleep and everybody else in the room was still snoozing.

I've tried to watch episodes twice and both times ...

I got this series a few months ago.

I have watched each segment probably three times.

Great photography, very interesting.

I finally got around to seeing this. I had been putting it off until I had a HD television and bluray. Wow. Spectacular stuff. It's my understanding they're in the process of making a series called Life which is very similar in scale. This should be mandatory viewing for school kids. If you still have not seen this, go find it.

whoa, dude ^^^ this thread is like 3-4 years old... (saw the series too on my neighbours awesome 60' plasma. AMAZING!)

Life is already in torrent sites in 1080p bluray.

My embed vids seems to be blocked but if you click on it and go directly to youtube it'll work.
