People should post fits here when they wear their TSB ties! I'll try to do so as well.

USPS didnt show up for pickup so going to have to take it tomorrow.

On another note, what kind of ties are we looking at for this box? I understand that going by brand isn't a good gauge because even a Brioni isnt good (if its from year 1925). But in general, what are we looking for? Are Brioni, Kiton, Isaia good? Panta, Howard Yount? Just trying to get some sort of gauge as to what's expected .... for next round icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Its kinda hard to pin it down. Thats what I was saying. Its more like you know it when you see it.

TD is the final arbiter, but here's my take on it:

(Almost) universally acceptable: Drake's, Panta, E.G. Marinella, Capelli, Yellow Hook Neckties, Borelli, Vanda, Hober

Potentially acceptable: Kiton, RLPL, Brioni, Isaia

Universally unacceptable: Jack Spade, Brooks, J. Crew, Hugo Boss, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre, etc etc etc

Thats pretty good. Id say Borrelli would likely go in the first group, as well as hober, vanda, and conrads new stuff.

I've seen some awful borrelli ties.

Obviously design is a major factor. Ive seen horrendous ties from almost every maker.

But as far as quality goes, I find their ties are top notch, and the ones I have, are gorgeous.
