The UK/EU tie swap box rises from the Ashes - Reborn Stateside - Page 69

now that is an excellent tie, well worthy of the box.

Yes, Conrad has generously donated three ties—samples for his upcoming line—that I'll add to the TSB. They are all hand-stitched in the US, and the fabrics are quite beautiful! These are in addition to my add to the box. As far as I know, the main difference between these samples and the final line is that the samples have more of a flat, hand-"folded" edge, whereas the finalized line will have a round, hand-rolled edge. Of course feel free to correct any mistakes I may have made, Conrad. smile.gif

very generous Conrad.

This is great that the box is getting better and better.

OK so sorry about the sh!t storm i've raised over the box... Im getting it now how A+ y'all wanna keep the box. Being that my camera skills suck and everyone always asks what color the ties are, Ill just post "stock" of what's going in (if that's ok)
GOING IN
YHN, not sure if I ever wore it (maybe once)

I'm going to take the Grey Brioni which was generously added by Red.

If all is good I will try my best to get this out tomorrow. Next in line (stitchy?) PM your deets

Sounds good shoes. Why not toss in the Jack Spade grenadine with the YHN that you are swapping for the Brand New Brioni Cashmere? Would everyone else agree?

I'd say that'd be about fair. smile.gif

Thanks for moving the box on to Stitch.

Now im just confused. I thought I missed the point with the grenadine because its apparently crap and now you want it in the box? puzzled.gif

Shoes - to clarify: You seem to be bent on taking more than you are giving. You are supposed to be giving more than you are taking. That is the point you are missing.

Yes, you are adding the YHN you got from a previous round of the TSB. Why not make a kind gesture and throw in the jack spade tie along with the YHN for the brand new brioni cashmere with bergdorf tags still attached?

if you give more than you take, goodness will come back to you.

FUCK! Let me be the first to say how awesome these ties are. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif I have 2 of conrads as of right now with plans on many more. VERY excited to see these in the box!!!!

Adding the spade would be nice, but Id call it a very fair 1:1 as is, and I think we should try to keep everything in the box top tier.

Well done, shoes. Ill PM you soon.

I dont think you need to add the spade grenadine...IMHO the tie you put in is more than enough for what youre taking out. Well done!!!

IMHO the jack spade will water the box down. Its a very nice tie, but I dont think the box needs it. Nor do i think Shoes is taking more than he's giving.

Because there's no reason to fill the box with any less then A+ goods. Isnt that the point of this round?

you got it mang. fistbump.gif The jack spade is a damn nice tie, but this round is really focused on fabric, pattern, and maker. Quite honestly i think the tie youre putting in is the nicest the box has seen.

Despite the bad photo, I think this is a contender for that spot...
