Help! I washed my knit tie

I've a RLPL knit tie (100% silk). Very crunchy material. Love it to pieces but I accidentally put it in the washer right now.

It was a little wringed but I managed to "smooth" it out. Any recommendations on what to do now? Should I put it in the dryer? Hang dry? Dry cleaners?
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it except I'm worried about what the material will feel/look after it dries.

Lay it out on a towel to dry?????

That's never happened to me, but I'd suggest laying it out to dry.

Send it to tiecrafters and see what they can do. How do you accidentally wash a tie? puzzled.gif

Let it air dry. When it is bone dry, put a light cloth over it and turn the steam up full blast on your iron and steam it with almost no pressure at all. Just barely touch the cloth.
