Obama at work - Page 3

Wilson is good. Reagan is good too - but not so much while in office. With JFK, people wanted to dress like him and still do. That's style.

Ouch.  He face is partially paralyzed from, I believe, cancer.

In any case, I'm talking about clothes, not face.

Funny, I was just thinking... So McCain is a war hero, a former prisoner of war, and a distinguished veteran of Vietnam. What's the quickest way to get people to forget about all of that? Become a politician I suppose.

I'll give you that people wanted to dress like a Kennedy in the 60s, it's just that I don't think it is as good as those other two. Reagan's look was underrated I think, because he dressed in a more classic style than what was popular in the 80s. However he still had panache. As for Wilson it's simply hard to find any faults with anything he ever wore.

ETA: Honestly I don't think many people are emulating the Jack Kennedy style of suit these days. And definitely not his ties or shirts.

I think I'm liking Wilson for this. RR's Hollywood years don't count. Didn't Bush Sr. dress fairly well in a WASPy late 1980s sort of way?

Well if only presidential years count then I have to switch Wilson to #1. Although I think it's a shame because Reagan was one cool cat in his younger years.

I know that Obama pretty much wears Hartmarx suits exclusively since they're headquartered in his hometown of Chicago.  How do you guys feel about the brand?

Can someone post a few examples of Reagan's SF approved outfits?
