wool behaves very differently than cotton in terms of dying and texture so you won't get the same distressed denim effect on wool.  and even if you do they will look very different in texture and creasing.

some companies like boglioli do have washed wool/cashmere but they don't look anywehre close to distressed denim.

if the purpose is to obtain warmth, why not just get some heavier weight denims?

or go invent your own process and make $$$?

i am very interested in that
but for some reason, i cant start alone
it's not that i dont want to work on it, put some other to work on it, or something
it seems i want someone to start with and make it happen
i had designing ideas and always wanted to implement them
i am sure implementation is nothing hard to do it
but i cant find anyone to make it with
if anyone is interested too, maybe we can do it together, feel free to contact me

What would your target market be? What is the appeal for using wool over cotton in jeans? No offense but i just don't see the point
