it's a he, you lazy bums. a very, very abused he. the guy had polio and a bad back that was further screwed up. there are a couple movies about him. he dresses up as a girl and does a tap dance routine. all there is to it.

I don't see anything shocking or obscene.

The Goddess Bunny is an acerbic individual who would probably laugh at all the poignancy thrust upon her. She/he used to insult people in the audiences at the clubs that she still performs at. However, to call the GB a crude individual is missing the point since like many people on the marginal societies, they have found ways to deal with their social issues, which might seem caustic to conventional types.

Incidentally, she was also the model for Joel-Peter Witkin's "Leda & the Swan". She would have been the ideal model for Diane Arbus.

Dunno, as someone who has worked with children and adults with develepmental disabilities, I couldn't imagine that anybody would find it funny.
