Impulsive Buy, I need some help making this work.

So I was walking around holt a few days ago and I came by a bunch of zegna mainline stuff.  It was on for a very good price so I picked it all up, including this jacket.  Now I really like the look and the fit of this, however I am not really sure what to do with it.  If you gents could give me some advice on making an outfit with it and also where I might be in the right to wear it.

Here is the jacket, its purple cashmere silk mix with black silk peeked lapels

not sure if midnight blue will go with purple, I am thinking a slim fit pair in black, however the white idea might work as well.
