Hey, I admit I'm a moron. I mean, what did moving to the US get me? Well, outside of affluence, a great life, happiness, fulfillment, etc?

See, you can take the mang out of Canada, but you'll never get the thoughtful, kind, considerate, Canadian out of the mang.

Is this what people are referring to when they talk about the good healthcare that Canada has to offer?

Not me. And not many of my Canadian neighbors, either. The main hospital's parking lot is loaded with "friendly Manitoba" plates year-round.

That is what those Manatobians get for living in the boonies. They are inferior to Torontoians, therefore they do not receive best healthcare Toronto and Canada has to offer, state-of-the art modern hospitals with the brightest doctors in the country. All free cause it is paid for by taxes.

In Manitoba the idea of a good hospital is a shack in the middle of the arctic tundra. What a disgrace.

Toronto is where the real Canada is at.

Let me guess: you live in Montreal.

As a Maritimer, this is incredibly accurate. When I first moved to Montreal, everyone asked me if I was from Scotland/Ireland. Seriously, at least once a week , for the first 6 months. When I'm right drunk, I revert back to this.

Going the opposite way (Montreal to the Maritimes)
I agree.

People here generally talk like morons.

Great people, though!

I think the quality of life in Canada is probably the best in the world. I really envy them. I wish I was born in Canada.
