Star Trek into Darkness (2013) - Page 9

I will say that the one thing that has been bugging me is that Bones has been effectively replaced. It felt that way in the first film, but now is all but confirmed. The franchise is about Kirk, Spork and Uhura now. That's just not right.

I'm really excited for the movie, but yeah the trailers are crap. Nevertheless, the blonde has me hypnotized.

More proof that Bones has been regulated to a 2nd class citizen in Star Trek.

Will Billy Dee Williams do a cameo in this new movie?

New stills from the issue of Empire I posted above.

I really hate this international poster. Doesn't give off the right vibe at all.

Much love for the new domestic poster.

I loved Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock. Can't wait to see him as the villain in the new movie.

It's been said before, but they really can't keep those ships flying for longer than a movie and a half, can they?

Yeah- the Enterprise used to be a bastion of safety and power and stability... ever since Picard crashed it, it seems they need to destroy it every movie.

Hate to get all foo.gif on you guys, but you are both really off here. If you don't count the 2009 reboot or it's coming sequel, there were 10 Star Trek films. In those the Enterprise was destroyed a grand total of two times. This happened with the NCC-1701 in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and the NCC-1701-D in Star Trek Generations. teacha.gif

So you didn't watch Nemesis, I take it. Good for you.

"What happened to the Enterprise? It got better."

Edit: apparently I'm the one who didn't watch the movie, because there's a scene at the end that suggests it's being fixed instead of scrapped.

Give me a break.
