Here are photos.

- Added bow tie
- Added square
- Sized up on suit jacket.

Going to tailor tomorrow. Besides the sleeve shortening and pants leg shortening, I think everything else is passable.

The shoulders look better. You should be able to have this altered to look ok. Seeing the whole ensemble together looks even worse than I imagined it would. Here is a little advise. If you have already adamantly made up your mind that you are wearing this shirt and tie, don't keep posting it here. You will only get righteous criticism. If you want advise on your suit fit then post pictures of your suit with a decent shirt and tie. That way the members of this community can move on from the disastrous look of it and just give you advise on how to have your suit tailored.

Will fix collar. No Im not, it's cold so I'm wearing a beanie.

Should I lose the square if I'm going like this? Pants will be hemmed so it just hits the shoes. Then sleeves will be shortened so that 1/4"-1/2" of shirt shows. Anything else?

Didn't have time so I just tied the bow tie around and took a quick photo. It's actually a white square, the lighting makes it sort of pink.

The square is one of the few things right about this outfit. As for the jacket, it needs to be taken in around the waist, chest, and back. But again, that might cost more than you are willing to pay for an $80 suit.

Retook photos as per request.
Looking for suit fit recommendations and anything additional.

The tailor can shorten the suit sleeves for $20 + pants hem for $10 = $30 alternations for a $80 suit.
There may be more things that need to be tailored, but need bang for buck and don't want to have alternation cost be higher than suit cost.

If you aren't willing to spend any more money then there are no further recommendations I can think of for your suit fit. You are getting the trousers hemmed and the sleeves shortened, good on you. Any other suggestions will cost more money.

You look better with these combination... but nevertheless, no one can force you to do anything, so do as you/your date please.

 

P.S. I believe your date wants you to look different from the others.

man that white shirt looks good... u look way better than i did at my prom. if youre willing to spend a bit more money have a tailor suppress the waist and clean up the back too. you can probably get a lot of life out of that suit considering you wont be wearing it much

The X threads on the back vent needed to be opened up too correct?
I will be going white shirt+black (or dark grey) bow tie for sure at my prom.

Will check with the tailor to see how much it will cost to bring the waist in a bit.

Caustic: What were the other things that I could get the tailor to do? I can also ask to see how much it will cost.

Correct, the threads closing the vents need to be removed. Carefully. As I said, if you are willing to spend the money on it the tailor should take in the waist, chest, and back. The jacket as it is right now is over all too big for you, which is ok because all that can be fixed.
