To get other people's opinion on how to dress better.  But if none if forthcoming, then I am going to make up my own opinion and not worry about it.  Unless it is for something really important, like an important job interview and wearing the wrong clothing will cost me a job.

Like you said "different people have different opinions".  If one person says tie A is better, tie B looks idiotic, and another person says the opposite, then I will make up my own mind who I think is right.  I will not worry what other people think.

I think you may be working at cross purposes. You're saying that life is too short to worry if Tie A would be a better choice than Tie B, as long as both are acceptable. You're treating this site as a repository of information for the man who wishes to accoutre himself in a manner that is acceptable and aesthetically pleasing, and there's nothing wrong with that. Caustic Man is, like the more devoted posters here, treating this site as a forum for men's clothing enthusiasts -- that is, men who think life is just the right length to worry whether Tie A or Tie B is more aesthetically pleasing, not because it's a crucial issue, but because they enjoy it. There's nothing wrong with that, either.

Tie turned out to be pretty dark; not that bad though. Will have to go with it.

For my skinny tie what knot should I use? A four-in-hand or windsor?

4-in-hand. But you should probably get a wider tie.

Went with the skinny tie since I'm skinner and it would fit me better.

Four in hand looks kind of weird?

Then bowtie adds to waiter factor.

The knot on the Windsor is wider than the tie itself= no good. Really more like skinny tie = no good, and I am a skinny guy myself.

I'd tend to agree on the bow tie, which is why I'd still strongly recommend a jacket. That said, the four-in-hand is the only acceptable knot for a tie that skinny. It will look a bit asymmetrical; that's part of its charm.

Im kinda digging the second tie knot tbh well compared to the others. Thats a clip on bowtie isn't it? thats why you are getting the "waiter" look

So windsor = too wide (though I could make it skinnier by cinching it)
Bowtie = too waiter-y (this is the only bow tie I have, besides the teal one) Even then, I still think the tie looks better.
Four in hand = best choice out of the three.
