JAB 70% off store wide: Good for shoe trees, etc

Everyone, your favorite clothing retailer is having a sale again. I know loves JAB, but find me a better price on their cedarville trees, and I'll go there. I just grabbed 4 pairs of shoe trees for $30+tax.

Use the code SEVENTY at checkout and FREESHIP to get free shipping.

As often as they do the Buy 1 get 2 nonsense, the free shipping this time around is actually really nice for bulky/heavy items like hangers and shoe trees.

Thanks for the tip - with the free shipping, I picked up 8 for a song

Wow, this is actually a pretty great deal. I'm hoping the cedar hangers are well-made, but in any case it cost me about $80 to pick up 4 cedar hangers, 4 regular wood hangers, and 2 tie hangers with that code. Unfortunately the free shipping did not work on the low order amount ($60 pre-tax and shipping), but $11 shipping for 10 heavy wooden items is a-OK in my book. Thanks for the heads up!

what are the shoulder widths of the wide suit hangers? it doesn't say on their website ???

Call me crazy but I think you only really need one pair of shoe trees.  Put them in immediately after you get home and they'll be in for 24 hours until you get home the next day.  Now hangers on the other hand...

I'm not positive, but I believe the JAB shoe trees are identical to the Allen Edmonds.

They are. Their shoe trees, hangers and shoe racks (pretty much all of the cedar stuff really) is manufactured by Woodlore.

Just stocked up on shoe trees and more shoe racks. Thanks for the info.

Just browsing, anyone with experience with the "cedar pant hanger" - http://www.josbank.com/menswear/shop/Product_11001_10050_101598

I have never used this style of hanger and am looking to quit using drycleaner hangers.

As for dress shirt hangers, I assume these work fine - http://www.josbank.com/menswear/shop/Product_11001_10050_101596?orderId=23500884

Anyone have any experience otherwise?

I ordered a bunch of cedar shoe and tie racks last sale. Great investment. Super cheap.

These are both well made Woodlore products. I doubt you'll have problems, and technically they'd be backed by JAB's unconditional satisfaction guarantee.

Thanks OP! Ordered 3 dress shirts, 1 formal white tie, a black belt (for a gift), a tie bar and a lint roller!

Shipping was only $10 to Canada, and duties were minimal. cheers.gif
