Armani Collezioni sportcoat $1595. Fully canvassed?

It is my understanding that there are multiple AC lines, some of which are fully canvassed and generally Zegna-like quality, while others are overpriced fused garbage. Is there anything I can infer about where this sportcoat falls on that spectrum based on the price point ($1595)? I found a jacket that fits very well and will cost around ~950 on sale including tax. It will only require very minor alterations; trying to figure out if I should pick it up. Thanks as always
