Update: I have recieved a very nice and quite detailed email from Andy Hiras regarding the photos in post #16 on 12/27/12 after review by him and his cutter. He explained that they leave a generous hem on the jacket and the hemline stich is what is causing the puckering seen in the photos. He has offered to remove a portion of the hem so it is probably not going to need a separate stitch other than at the intersection of the lining. Leaving a short hem like this will not allow for the hem to be lengthened to any extent, but this area does not ususally require alterations. They will do this at no expense and will cover postage to send it back. Ramesh, the tailor who measured me in late November 2012 is coming to our area in about 10 days. I have also received the Black suit in the last week. They both fit well and feel very comfortable but I have an appointment with Ramesh and he will inspect the fit of both suits at his upcoming visit. I have posted a series of pictures of the 2 suits on "The Tailors'Thread, Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions", pending review of the moderator, so go there to see their work, page 177, post 2649.

Update: Had an appointment with Ramesh earlier this week. He examined the two suits I was measured for in late November 2012. These are pictured in detail in post #2649, page 177 of The Tailors' Thread Fit Feedback. We were both pleased with the fit of the two suits and he agreed to take the charcoal jacket and have his tailor remove the stitching which caused the puckering of the fabric documented in post #16 of this thread. He measured me for 4 shirts and I am pleased that I will have at least one of them for an event just 2 weeks from now. I am happy with the work they have done for me on the suits and feel comfortable recommending them to some of my friends who have seen the suits. Ramish and Andy Hiras have treated me fairly and professionally and I plan to use their services again.
