I need help with chelsea boots

Hello forum members I am a 21 year old male living in Los Angeles.

My body is slim I am 5'11 and weigh 140 pounds. I been updating my closet recently from all sneakers and t shirts to slim/skinny  pants and button ups. I was wondering what is a good pair of chelsea boots I can purchase that I can use for a night out and casual dates. I was looking at a pair of Timberland Mt. Washington Chelsea boots  I like the shape and the price please consider that I am not looking for something long term right now more of a experimental boot thanks.

Heres a link of the boots, feedback would be great thanks.

Need to know more about your budget. The boots you have linked I don't think anyone here would suggest buying.

Those Timberland boots look awfully clunky and are more suited to a job site than going out.

These IMO are fantastic, but a little out of your price range (that being said, they'll last for a long time with good care). The classic elegant shape means you can wear it 10 years from now and not look odd.

One of my favorite chelsea boots is this Carmina

...not stylish at all. I'm not sure what an "experimental boot" is, but maybe it will work for that. It sure won't work for style points.

Does anybody have experience with the Cheaney thread needle? I'm looking for a Chelsea that would pair well with a suit.
