This is a spectacular winter coat by Zegna. Outer material is 100% Cashmere, Elements fabric, which is Zegna’s version of LP’s Storm System. Lining is 50% wool, 25% cashmere and 25% silk. Leather accents.
Two way zipper and buttons both hidden behind placket. Single rear vent with button. Outer sleeves appear as dress coat sleeves but have inner elastic storm cuffs which can’t be seen but will be appreciated when wind is howling. 5 inner pockets (2 zippered, 2 buttoned, 1 flap and button for cell phone); 3 outer pockets – 2 handwarmer pockets and a zippered outer chest pocket.
Color is very dark blue with black leather accents on placket, under outside of collar and on the two big inner zipper pockets (none of the leather is readily visible if coat is zipped and collar is down.) Lining is dark grey/blue with faint grey pinstripes.
Coat was purchased at Zegna store in NYC. All tags still attached, never worn, show price of $2795. Tagged size is Large. Measurements:
