Lol, I thought the whole point of using this magic crystal was to avoid using aluminium? And who the hell could think rubbing rock salt under your arm would absorb odours?

It just has the active alum ingredient of many other antiperspirants but in a different form, I don't get the point either. The particles are absorbed into the sweat glands to clog them and prevent sweating so it's not really absorbing odors.

The best "natural" one I've tried is Herbal magic, compared to almost 10 others tested. The active ingredients are algae, baking soda and hops to name a few. It doesn't really prevent sweating though.

No really. I'm so NOT joking. Try talc. Just try it once. No perfume, just a generous amount of talc, so you get the point. :)

It was good enough for generations of men, and I don't think our grandfathers smelled so much worse than us in their heyday. Plus, it's cheaper than most good deos, and smells better than most cheap ones.

You don't think our grandfathers smelled worse than us? I bet you're wrong.

Yea I exaggerated a bit, the early XX. century was definitely musky with showers every other day, or every week in certain families.
My point is, the smell was not due to lack of technology, but rather the widespread lack of application thereof.

Where did you illiterate motherfuckers get the idea that crystal deodorants absorbed odors? They don't; they kill odor-causing bacteria.

And all aluminum is not the same. Conventional deodorants use Aluminum Chlorohydrate or Aluminum Zirconium. The ingredients in crystal deodorants are Mineral Salt (Potassium Silicate), Ammonium Aluminum.

They absolutely work for some.
