Hi there people,

Can anyone inform me as to where I can buy the shoe on the left in this picture please? I haven't seen it in any of the shoe shops down Jermyn Street, even John Lobb.

I really like the dark brown toe cap with the contrasting mid brown on the rest of the shoe, beautiful touch.

Thank you,
swlondon.

Theirs are different because the one above has only the toe cap contrasting.

Also I was really hoping that maybe I could get these RTW and for around £350, as opposed to JL prices.

Beggars can't be choosers.
in Danielle6's case beggars CAN be choosers

This guy has been begging for a discount on the EGs I am selling and then keeps equivocating on whether the size is right.
Anyone thinking of selling to Danile6 should approach with extreme caution as time wasting is of the highest probability

Anyone know any of any other manufacturers of this shoe by any chance? Still after them.

This is quite silly, but Lino Leluzzi wears the same exact darkened toe cap double monks, which he sells in his shop, Al Bazar, just outside of Milan. Much too sprezzy for me, and very limited wardrobe pairings IMO, but hey, to each his own.

Thank you for the replies guys.

I may try darkening a pair with dye/polish.

buy a pair in tan.  dye the toe cap to dark brown.  problem solved.

+1, very easy

without doing MTO orders, you can find Loake Cannon and Meermin Monks, both available in tan at low prices.

BTW the shoes in the picture are of Lino himself, they are made in italy and sold in his shop with the al bazar brand.

They look to me like the caps have just been darkened with polish dunked in chocolate sauce...you know, the sauce that hardens on ice cream. Not to my taste, but each to their own.
