Here's another piece that I have come up with, enjoy!
Italian tanned kangaroo- Ten times stronger than cowhide, and fifty percent stronger goat skin.
Stingray - Twenty-five times more durable than cowhide and has a luxurious texture than is sure to be a conversation starter!
Genuine Horween Shell Cordovan - A company devoted to the upmost quality since 1905, Horween is one of the oldest continuously running tanneries in the USA. The rich smell, depth of color and dense grain makes cordovan one of my favorite leathers.
So what do you get when you combine all three? One special iPhone sleeve! The sleeve is designed to fit the iPhone 5, but can accommodate the iPhone 4/4s.
The iPhone sleeve was made completely by hand, by me, no machines. I hand cut and stitch each piece so no two are alike.
I use a traditional saddle stitch with Ecru Lin Cable linen cord.
A stingray inlay is surrounded by Horween Shell Cordovan in Cigar on the front of the sleeve. The striking stingray against a subtle rich brown background make a perfect combination. The front of the sleeve is lined in light brown Italian tanned kangaroo. The back of the sleeve was left unlined to keep the sleeve as thin as possible and show off the cordovan's smooth texture. Edges were finished with a durable edge coat from Fiebing's in brown.
Photos were taken in various light settings for details and coloring comparisons. This is entirely made by hand, one of a kind!
