Hello all,
I am very interested in this Tom Ford shirt. I really like the material and texture, but the color seems to be a little hard to pull it together.

My suit: charcoal with white chalk pinstripe (heavy wool), charcoal with thin pinstripe, solid black, silver (more like fashion suit).

My tie: every solid colors.

Thanks.

Here is the pattern of my chalk pinstripe suit.

For a shirt on ebay, Ithink $665 is a little too much.

It's fine, any light-colored dress shirt would be perfect with your charcoal suit.

I am probably biased but I personally try to avoid wearing pink shirts like that with suits. Don't get me wrong, I have a few myself but I seem to always pair them with jeans and a jacket or maybe colored chinos, etc. I just see too many British and Nordic people trying to do the pink shirt thing for business type environments and they never seem to pull it off very well. On the other hand you could be the exception and might look great in it.

Anything grey or silver, I'd say, is the easy/classic choice. Or, and this is a personal taste, I really like navy ties with pink patterns/details.

Something like this (ironically from a similar, old, SF thread)

Pink and navy works well. I would go with a navy blazer.

Not crazy with a pink shirt either. Mine's usually tailored shirts in light blues, whites, or off-whites.
