Thoughts on Frye Walter boot? - Page 2

I've had them for a bit now. I have some quality control issues but they're still "ok." I got them from shoemall with heavy discounts sub 200. If you're willing to pay full retail I would just save for the Aldens or the 1000 mile Courtlands.

I normally wear an 11D shoe, but in Wolverine 1000 Mile I went down 1/2 size.  For the Frye Walter I purchased my actual size but could easily have gone down 1/2 size.  I just wear thicker socks or put in an insole.  The Frye Arkansas is also a nice boot.  It is made in the USA like the Frye Walter.  I would not get any of the Frye offerings made in other nations.
