Hello everyone,
Upon exhaustive search for a briefcase, I'm finally settling for a Swaine Adeney Brigg briefcase, and I'm coming to all you gents for advice and direction.
The bag: I don't like the top frame mode, and the straps seem cumbersome for opening and closing all the time (any input on that?), hence I'm currently eyeing the fold-over version. Would the Westminster 2 be the ideal option? especially for business/corporate environments, or do you recommend otherwise? On the other hand, is it possible to leave the straps released on the Westminster Wrap SS without having it look awkward?
The color: Usually, darker colors work better in professional/corporate environments. To that reason, I'm aiming for the Black or Havana. Do any of you have those colors. If so, what do you think of them (post pictures if you can please :) )? How do the other colors (London Tan / Chestnut) look in a business/professional environment?
The size: American or British? (lets say, 15'' macbook pro with a file and a notepad).
Warranty : What's the warranty like on these bags? Saddleback offers 100 years!
Finally : purchase source. What would be the best website or online vendor to buy it from. Do any vendors have good sales/discounts?
Appreciate all input on this :) This'll be my first - and hopefully long lasting briefcase for work.
