Zegna traveller fabric

Getting a suit made, is it worth the premium for the traveller fabric, with zegna 150 is 1980, with traveller fabric is 2700, quite a difference for some wrinkle treatment it seems. I would really appreciate some opinions from those who know, don't travel a lot, but looking for an all around grey suit. I'm going custom due to a 10 inch drop and difficulty finding a good fitting suit OTR.

Are you sure you're comparing apples to apples? That price jump implies different grades of fabric. Wool to cashmere for example.

The price differential may also imply a greater degree of handwork for the premium fabric. I know this is the case with Isaia MTM.

Good cloth. Some of them are on the soft side but it tailors and wears well

Would you consider it a worthy additional expense or more of a marketing gimmick up-sell?

The two fabrics are in different grades. The traveller fabric should be one of their high-performance ones. Can't go wrong with either of them though. Zegna makes excellent cloths.
