Thanks guys! I was really impressed by the tie. ET is probably one of the best options if you're looking for staple, solid grenadines.

When's the last day of the sale? Thursday?

I was thinking of getting a grenadine while it's on sale.

A black grenadine is often mentioned when speaking of versatility (by Jesse/PTO). I already have navy w/ stripes nd a purple one, both by Drake's.

If I choose to go for a black grenadine, is it best to go for a large weave or a fine weave grenadine? Also considering the bitter chocolate one.

Some context - I wear a suit maybe between 5-10 times a year, but sometimes go out with a SC (most of the times in navy) on the town etc, and was wondering if this could complement my wardrobe. I've got two good (for the price) suits that are mid grey and navy in addition to the navy SC.

If you mainly wear navy sports coats I'd go for the bitter chocolate or perhaps the forest green grenadine in a large weave, seen as you already have a navy one. I can't see a black grenadine working with just an SC.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Normally my attire is more towards MC Casual with a lot of jeans/chinos etc. Suits are mostly worn for more formal events, where as I want to use my SC (plain navy) for going out and occasions where I want to dress up from just wearing jeans/chinos and shirt.

I was lucky enough to get a free grenadine when Shaya announced them.
I usually go for 7 fold hand rolled/untipped and was curious to see what ET had to propose under its brand when it already sells top quality products.
After hesitating with the purple one, I decided to go for a burnt orange in grossa.
The tie is well made and pleasant to knot.
The silk has a very nice crunch feeling, on similar construction my "branded" ties can't compete.
The color is not a common one and I am more than happy with (perfect addition to the grey flannel/blue shirt combo).
so all in all, a great product for a more than reasonable price.

I am looking forward ET to expand the range to other constructions (hand rolled) as these ties are an amazing deal and would recommend anyone to go for them.

Hi Dave.

I just happen to come across this thread though I've been looking to buy some shoe care products for sometime now.

I noticed the OP said that the shipping over 50 quid is free to international locations. I tried checking out with items worth 52 and some change.

I am from India and I am being charged like 45 bucks for shipping. I know the shipping actually costs that much but I was intrigued with the free shipping mentioned in the OP.

However is there a way you can reduce on the shipping ?

I dont mind spending like a 100 bucks to qualify for free shipping. Please advise.!

AK.

The Passaggio Cravatte has a unique hand, unlike any other unlined grenadine I've ever owned. It's extremely lightweight, but drapes very well and ties a beautiful knot. This lightness makes it one of the most comfortable ties I own, as you'll forget you're even wearing it. The colours of the tie rival the hanky in vividness, and the pattern has a very nice vintage vibe to it. The fact that it's a printed grenadine also makes it a rather pleasant exception exception to the standard solid ones. The construction is of a very high quality, and the hand rolled edges are truly a work of art. Sadly, this particular colour isn't available anymore, but a lovely wine red one is still up for grabs!

The hanky has swiftly become my favorite one, not only because of its fantastic wool/silk material, but also for its sheer versatility. As you can see in the two pictures, the same square is used very differently in the two outfits, but with an equally stunning result. Depending on how you fold it you can show dark green, golden yellow, burnt orange, light blue or wine red, with every colour being equally vivid. I can't recommend these squares enough, and I'm thinking of getting another one, as having just two of these squares will complement nearly every outfit you can think of.

By far the worst ever experience shopping online. I placed my order on the 16th December. After recieving the confirmation there was not further communication whatsoever. Upon checking up with Shaya on the 2nd of Jan, He replied promptly saying he will check with the order and get back. My happiness was short lived as its been 10 days and theres absolutely no reply about my order. All I ordered was some shoe care material. If its going to take this long to make that shipment, I'll happily order my stuff somewhere else.

I have also forwarded all the order details and still no response. I am using this as a last resort to put it to Mr. Shaya's ear. Please wake up.
