They're not that thick at all.. Don't know which Pantherellas you're talking about to compare them to.

I have some Gallo socks that are a cotton blend and thicker than the Sozzi Calze ones, which are definitely on the thinner side. They come in 2 styles though and the ribbed is "thicker" than the flat.
