rolleyes.gif We're all well aware of your un-love of slub. You and @sugarbutch deserve each other!

Thanks to Shaya for these. If you had just these and a white linen square, you'd be set for many combinations for winter and fall. The madder is really great: chalky, dusty, a bit denser than the airy silk wools.

I strongly recommend them.

Glad you finally got the order.  They look great.  I just placed my first order last night and being in SF as well let's hope I don't get your service.  Then again, I just had a huge battle with USPS from a recent eBay order that was scanned as delivered on Feb 11 but ACTUALLY delivered Feb 21.  I would rather it is held up at a USPS location because once they say it is delivered you are in for a battle because no one helps you.  My eBay seller also did nothing on his end to help.  I am not even sure eBay would have given me the money back guarantee.  Luckily it was finally delivered for real but USPS don't update that in their system because that would admit fault on their end.  Heaven forbid they own a mistake.

I could not pass up on the basic white linen with color border sale going on right now and bought a handful.  Definitely not as unique as the ones you grabbed but looking forward to my first order.

During the first week of January I got a private message from @LA Guy saying that I was a lucky winner of the pair of gloves from Exquisite Trimmings and that my name got picked from over 10K people who subscribe to the SF newsletter.

At first I thought it was a joke or some type of setup, as I have been looking for peccary gloves for close to a year now and it was hard to believe, as I never won anything before. After a few emails from Fok, I started to realize that this was for real.

Lo and behold, these beautiful Merola peccary gloves in cork color arrived in the mail last week from Fok. The gloves are simply amazing, peccary leather is super soft, they fit perfectly. This is the best gift I ever got from anyone outside my immediate family. My sincere thanks to @LA Guy (Fok) , Styleforum and Shaya.

I am posting some picture below.

You're very welcome, and a terrific fit.  Thank you to Shaya for the generous donations, and his generosity in our Holiday charity auctions as well.

It was actually out of the 11K or so people who opened the newsletter.  The newsletter sends to about 100K people.

We'll be doing more of these.  You'd think that your chances would be 1/100000, which is pretty low, but when it's based on your opening the newsletter and reading one of our stories, then your chances pretty decent.  It gives us a way to reward our loyal readers and members and to highlight some of the excellent affiliate vendors and other sponsors that allow us to keep on doing what we are doing, and hopefully improving.

Cheers,

Fok.

Great gloves. I have the same ones in black! Which I bought from Shaya a bit over a month ago.
I was watching the youtube video on gloves from Gentleman's Gazette and they recommend not buying gloves that do not use a traditional form of closure, which would be a button.
I have to say it's my only complaint about those gloves, the wrist area stretches out and is awkwardly loose. I suppose I should be looking into having a button added?

Hi,

Just updating on my order.  Order 6 pocket squares (all white with 6 different color border) on Feb 25 and just received today March 7.  Great quality product and very reasonable shipping time.

Regards,

Mark

So many shipping issues in here! I'm sorry guys! At the moment, Royal Mail is the cheapest (tracked) way to ship the packages internationally. I'm working on something with DHL, but might have to increase the price slightly.. We shall see!

In other news, just thought I'd give StyleForum a heads up (before social media/newsletter) that there's some serious markdowns in the sale section: http://www.exquisitetrimmings.com/products/show/saleitems - The items won't be lowered any further and stock is pretty limited.

Many news arrivals to post about in the coming weeks... Stay tuned.

Waiting on a couple of squares as we speak, now I'm wishing I'd grabbed a couple more!

I'm about to buy a new car, so it looks like my clothing obsession is going to have to sit on the backburner for a bit. Still, there's always room for one last thing ;) I've always fancied a tie in a rusty orange shade, and I found the perfect one in the sale section by Drake's at a very fair price. Looking forward to receiving it!
