And earlier you were making fun of my jokes...yeecch. Got any "Titanic" jokes you'd like to get rid of while you're at it? Maybe ask the people who voted for D_D if that's their "final answer" while opening with "Waaaaazaaaaaaaaaaappppppp."

Shhhh. You're ruining my play for the last minute sympathy vote. Sort of a "see what he's been reduced to?" thing.

Hold everything. This contest is the most un-american thing I've ever seen. I've voted in enough prezidential elections to know that to make a choice you shouldn't be required to think.

How can one choose when faced with three conspicuously worthy candidates? That's not right at all. To start with there's Sauce, indisputably a master at pouring on the sauces, whether in his elegant Strollers or his eloquently loquacious campaign speeches; yet I wonder, can we trust anyone who's so compelling? Next, Digital Denim seems indubitably the man for me, for what is a more worthy quality than inscrutability. But some other posters have given me doubts, complimenting his "galses" and his PJBs. What on earth are those things; I'm embarrassed to look too hard, for fear I will spot them. I guess I can't even inscrute the candidate. Ah-ha, if he is a real candidate, that is. Maybe they're hinting that Digital Denim isn't flesh and blood at all, but a Digitized Demon, only a fiction existing in cyberspace. I was slow catching on to that one. That leaves me with Cheap, and I have to say Cheap is a concept easily grasped. However, I'm looking more closely and I wonder, aren't his thrift shop finds a lot like my vacation clothes that the airline lost somewhere in Florida? No one offered to burn one with me then.

Well, I guess it helps to think things through after all (even if not prezidental elections) and I apologize for my doubts because I see now that the contest smacks of genuine illegitimacy and therefore should go forward. Three flawed candidates. It's looking more american all the time. I understand.

Actually, he paid me to do it, figuring no one would ever suspect the loser... meet me in that abandoned warehouse we discussed and I can provide you with documentation.

The polling is now closed. Thank you everyone for their insightful commentary. The Supreme court has decided not to hear Cheap's appeal, one of those in Florida was quite enough, apparently. The commission has decided to hire pensioners to count all votes by hand next time.

Congratulations Digital Denim, you are the first Asian "Big Winner." Much face to you. (And Brian will contact you shortly about your prize.)

Fok.

Fellow Forumites,

There are moments in a man's life where he must accept the inevitable, as graciously as he can, for some forces cannot long be opposed. First among these moments is death; the second, for me, is this very moment. My tenure as the Big Winner, like all things, must end.

I believe future generations will remember my administration fondly. The banning of vanity, ensuring a safer, cleaner Styleforum henceforth; the move to newer, better servers, and the accompanying renovation of our proud electronic lands, long overdue. These things, among many others, have made this a better forum during my incumbency. So it is with sadness that I depart.

It is however, with confidence in our shared future that I vouchsafe the office of Big Winner to Digital Denim, a brilliant and capable sartorialist. I stand willing to help the Digital administration in whatever ways I can, and I promise that in the grand dialogue that is this Styleforum sartoriocracy, I will not be silent; I will continue to post in the What Are You Wearing Now thread. Someone, after all, must make heard the voices of the sauceless. In the meantime, it is with perhaps nostalgia for the past, and hope for the future, but with no regrets in the present, that I hereby step down as the first ever Peasant/Styleforum Big Winner, and pass the mantle on to the worthy, and Asian, Digital Denim.

Thank you, and goodnight.*

God bless Styleforum.

*: Tape delay again, Fok.

good afternoon everyone...

it has been a long, hard struggle agianst the evil capitalist pigs, and we have overcome. do not pay any attention to the poll results, as we know they have been tampered with. i, the lover of cheap mothers and leader of those who can not spend 1500$ on an outfit, have undeniable proof that we have won, and will be leading the revolution from the front lines since the capitalist pigs have stolen our rightful offices.
