What shirt to wear with brown shoes and grey pants

Hi guys, got a friends birthday soon and I want to combine brown shoes with my grey pants and brown belt. Just wondering what colour shirt and tie combination i should wear with the shows and pants??? Any suggestions

So many things work with gray trousers and brown shoes. But you can't go wrong with a light blue shirt and a navy tie.

Solid blue or pink shirt and navy, purple or dark green tie. Knit ties are nice for social occasions.

Adding, a pencil stripe or quiet pinstripe shirt may work with a jacket added to the ensemble.
