Thoughts? For a guy in their young 20s, they cant be that bad right?

Note - I bought a $1,200 Armani suit and I just dont see the worth in expensive suits anymore

Anymore? Did you ever learn what makes an expensive suit, an expensive suit?

I suggest you learn about canvassing, hand stitched button holes, functional button holes, fabric quality, etc.

The key about a suit is the fit. A nice fitting suit is assumed to be expensive. I dont need to pay around a grand.

Yes, fit always comes before construction & fabric. A nice fitting suit does not need to be expensive.

However, a suit that fits well and lasts a long time, will cost more. Fused suits will not last nearly as long as Fully Canvassed suits.

Also, Zara suits tend to be very fashion forward and aren't exactly timeless.

Just my 2 cents.

Since i am very slim i like Zara for fashion suits. I tend to get the really fashion forward suits for a night out. I would not wear them to the office.

These are mainly polyester and only 15% wool. I wouldn't buy them, even at a significant discount to their retail price.

OP is already set in his opinion. Pay full retail and enjoy them

Then why bother asking if they are any good? By your reckoning, as long as they fit they look expensive. So, try one on and if it fits you'll look like a million bucks.

well, I've already have an Armani suit. But I dont want to go buy 2-3 other 1,200 suits. I just want a cheap one but thats not terrible quality. Is such a thing possible?

You can get a way better quality suit than Zara for a little more. Actually read the forums and learn a bit more. Then figure out sizing and search for a deal on B&S or eBay

I suggest you wonder over to a website such as halfass.com

It's either bad or it's not. Being in your 20s doesn't have anything to do with it.

I've never bought anything from Zara. I'm not sure that I've ever been into one of the stores, so I can't comment on the quality (though, I'm guessing that the quality is shxtty). A question to answer is, "how much are you willing to pay for a shxtty suit, even if it fits well?"

I'll be honest with you, if you're just looking for someone to talk you into it or rationalize your half-assed, "good enough" way of thinking, then you're in the wrong place.

I've bought 2 sportcoats from Zara. While they fit ok (after alterations), their quality and construction doesn't compare with those of my bespoke jackets. As a result, I use them as good beater jackets. I doubt they will last more than 2 years. I just happened to get lucky. Most of their other jackets offerings are very poor in quality and construction.

YMMV, of course...

You got ripped off paying 1200 for an Armani.
