The Great Holiday Proxy Swap

It's November, which means the holidays are fast approaching. In the annual tradition of styleforum, we'll be buying ourselves massive quantities of clothing and footwear on sale. What better way to spread some holiday cheer than to enable baller (or even mediocre) international purchases?

So, I thought I'd combine this tradition with our penchant for pinching pennies when spending thousands on shit we don't need. Thus, I bring you:


The rules are simple-
1. No proxy fees are allowed*
2. Only actual shipping costs are charged**
3. Offer to proxy while asking for one. For instance:

OFFER: Pickled herring and fermented shark from Iceland to ten people anywhere in the world
NEED: Common Projects Achilles Mids in 43 (or should I size up three to 7.25??) from cheapfakeCPs.com

4. PM the person who needs what you offer or offers what you need and set up the deal.
5. When either your offer or need is fulfilled, just do a strikethrough rather than deleting.

OFFER: Proxy from any US webshop to anywhere in the world for 3-4 people
NEED: A half dozen or so Kinder Surprise eggs from the UK/EU. They are no longer available here in the US.

Yes, it's crazy. Kinder even started making plastic eggs where the chocolate was in one sealed half, and the toy was in another sealed half, and that still wasn't good enough for the FDA. I assure you, my ten year-old daughter knows not to try to eat small toys...
