Will be going back to my black achilles tomorrow and hopefully a tan pair of MMM Gats in the future.
Iphone fade: I probably wont rotate my phone.

I've been having trouble figuring out what shoes to wear with them too.. White shoes have looked off to me, do you think they are too dark to wear brown with?

I don't think so, I was considering buying another pair of CP's in a wine color.

What shoe do you have in mind.

Oh and if any of you are wearing converse all stars, CP Achilles was a huge jump in comfort for me. Plus my feet aren't freezing anymore.

They looked weird with my white jack purcells.. can't quite afford CPs :P.  I have a pair of clarks desert boots in beeswax and my ll bean katahdins that are both brown.  People frown upon black with brown and idk how I feel about it but 702s are so dark also.  I think white high tops could work well if you like high tops.  I want the APC x Nike Dunks in white but can't find them anywhere.  I was thinking of getting some Clae Hamilton's in black to wear with them.  Any recommendations for about 150 or less?

And about the leg opening, yeah I think some time would have helped so the denim loosens up but even if they did sit better after a while there would have still been too much fabric for my liking.  I'm surprised the cut doesn't taper more than it does.  Or I just need to work my calves more!

Pro tip: don't put your phone in your front pocket until the lap creases have set.

How long do you suggest I wait ? I have been wearing them almost daily since November 6th.

Out of curiosity: Is this denim made out of indigo diyed cotton threads in both the warp as the weft??

I was just wondering, does the phone in jean pocket thing go for all raw denim, like letting your lap creases set before putting your phone in your front pocket?

It's winter in Houston brah.

This is how it works.

Winter: 0000 - 1100

Spring: 1100 - 1300

Summer: 1300 - 1600

Autumn: 1600 - 1900

Winter: 1900 - 0000

Re: leg opening. It's a "tight straight" model - I think a lot of you questioning the leg opening are too far swayed by the current trend towards ¡¡¡ULTRA-TAPER!!! I would agree though too w/ Caltex that it's not as pronounced when the denim settles in.

I love the high contrast between my light shoes and the indigo/black. I was wearing a pair of sand suede DBs today and thought it looked cool... frown.gif

They're just so comfy. Loving it.

And thanks for the advice on the phone. I want the lap to get set and solid so dem fadez cum in...

I'm just cursed with skinny calves but I'm working on it!  I knew going in that the calf might be too roomy for me so I was prepared to get them tapered anyway.  I think sand suedes would look good with these!  Hopefully I get my jeans back sometimes between Monday-Wednesday.  They were already breaking in and getting comfy.  Think I'm gonna keep my phone in my back pocket, I'm not really a fan of phone fades in the front.

I really like these jeans, I don't see myself leaving once the tapered fit comes in.

No, probably not. When I buy the BOM005 in Feb, they'll probably literally sit unworn until this contest wraps up...
