how thick are the regular threads? and how thin would they have to be for repairs to look seamless? obviously using an indigo thread would help but is there a strong yet thin thread?

Polycore thread will always fair better than anything 100% cotton. Usually can get them in the same gauge too. Not sure about momo pink though

....well in the spirit of sharing, here is what i am gonna do at some point if it is needed.
I could claim this as my own idea, but it isnt really.

Someone in the SuFu heavyweight contest reinforced the crotch using a cross stitch,
like the moc toe stitching on these .....

Fuuuuuuucccckkkkkkkk got a pen-sized hole in the crotch. To repair and reinforce now or to just hold off until the hole gets big.... sigh...

Hey Guys,

 

Sorry for being MIA for awhile, I've had a lot of family problems lately and my mother passed away on Sunday :( Obviously I'm incredibly sad and heartbroken and haven't been interneting as much lately.

 

But I wanted to post a few pics (albeit cellphone pics) of my jawns and give you all an update. So here's my BOM003's at about 4 months of wear. What do you guys think??

I really like the pocketknife fade that's coming in in the coin pouch. 

 

I'm going to get a friend with a nice camera to take some pictures for me so I'll have some nice high res pictures soon.

can you make a vid of how to darn with a regular sewing machine? in the selfedge vid they use some cylindrical thing that the sewing takes place on which im sure most machines dont have

disinterest? If I'm going to have the crotch dissintegrate, I wear them more infrequently. Plus, I have a similar pair of PBJ xx009s that are well worn and faded, and have been more fun recently as my likes go through cycles.

Also, it's getting hot here - 85 yesterday.

how does the fit of the 009s compare with the 702?
