Does anyone know the fate of SPURR? Looks like Oak won't be carrying them this spring; they have no web site; I can't find any other online retailers.

I am surprised to hear this as I just read an article in DNR about how they are going to / could be the next hottest thing. Bergdorf Goodman, Jeffrey (NYC), Louis Boston, and others are supposed to be carrying it.

If by dead you mean that all of the marquee names in retail have picked it up, then... yes

The jeans are pretty unique looking. I can't say that mine get huge time in my rotation - they are not the most versatile jeans ever - but they do have a distinctive voice, which is critical in that very over saturated market right now... and they are ridiculously comfortable.
