Yes, you read it right: I´m crooked. Fortunately, my doc told me I´m not the only one. UNfortunately, I´m a bit more crooked than your average person.
My left leg is about 2 centimeters longer than my right one. Because of this my hips, spine, and shoulders are a bit slanted. Now, when wearing casual wear, this isn´t really a problem. However, when wearing suits, especially double breasted suits, you can see something is a bit off.
Due to me just having joined the workforce, and therefore having a pretty small budget, I´ve stuck to purchasing off the rack suits and shirts. My most recent purchase is a grey, double breasted Hardy Amies. The fit is great, but due to my shoulders being a bit off, you can see the button pulls...of course it does, one side of the jacket is hanging lower than the other side. Would simply adjusting the buttons solve this problem?
More importantly, before actually making a huge investment,, would having a suit made to measure solve this problem? Can a tailor create a suit that will fit straight, even though my frame is crooked? Or would it still look off?
