It took six weeks for my suit purchased on December 26 last year.  Two weeks was the quote and I had to send it back twice - the first time because the tailor neglected to make the alterations on the pants and the cuffs and the second time because the cuffs came back altered but too long.

i go into my local story (metro detroit) and my alterations are usually done within two days, sometimes they can do things for me the day of. depends on how busy they are.
